Each year, the American Film Institute honors “an individual whose career in motion pictures has greatly contributed to the enrichment of American culture” and throws a gala in their honor. This year’s honoree was Nicole Kidman, and I can say she has most certainly greatly enriched my life. Eyes Wide Shut? Practical Magic? Moulin Rouge? The Hours? Bewitched?
