Cryer and McCarthy hashed their past emnity out at a panel for McCarthy’s doc Brats. “When we made Pretty in Pink, we didn’t get along because he was a dick,” Cryer said. McCarthy agreed, saying “That’s very true. Fellow panelist Demi Moore, on the other hand, did not. “Well I didn’t think he was a dick,” she said, to which Cryer retorted “Well he wasn’t a dick to you.” Later on Twitter, Cryer made it explicitly clear that he and McCarthy now have nothing but love. “And for the record, the man is a prince,” he wrote. “We were just too young to understand each other.” Cryer has revised he feelings for McCarthy, just as McCarthy has for the “brat pack” label, which he used to find “horrible,” but now sees as “a blessing.” Wow, Charli XCX’s impact.
Not talking out of school here, btw, he was sitting two feet away when I said this.
