More than 40 years since releasing her hit single “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” Cyndi Lauper is getting ready to say good-bye to touring. On Monday, Live Nation announced that later this year, Lauper will embark on her final tour, aptly titled the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour.

The announcement comes a day before Let the Canary Sing, a documentary about Lauper’s life and career, is set to premiere on Paramount. Lauper, 70, hasn’t said why she’s retiring from touring, but she’s expected to talk about the decision when she appears on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday, per Variety.

The tour will begin in Montreal in October and end in Chicago in December, with 21 North American stops in between, including in Lauper’s hometown of New York. Lauper rose to fame after releasing “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” in 1983. The song, with its lyrics about not needing a man’s approval and catchy chorus, became a feminist anthem that has remained relevant for four decades.
