Weekly commuter roundup: June 3-7

Here are the subway disruptions, road closures and other commuting changes you should be aware of as you get around the city this week.

Roads and bridges

No major disruptions planned for local roads and bridges.

Subway

– Between Monday, June 3 and Thursday, June 6, C trains will not run after 9:30 p.m. Take the A train instead.

– F trains will not run between Jay St-MetroTech and Church Avenue in Brooklyn beginning Monday, June 3 through Friday, June 7 each day from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.

– In Brooklyn, G trains won’t run between Bedford-Nostrand avenues and Church Avenue starting Monday, June 3 through Friday, June 7 each day from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.

– G trains between Bedford-Nostrand avenues in Brooklyn and Court Square in Queens won’t run beginning Friday, June 7 at 9:45 p.m. through Monday, June 9 at 5 a.m.

– No 7 train service between Queensboro Plaza in Queens and 34 St-Hudson Yards in Manhattan as of Wednesday, June 5 11:45 p.m. to Thursday, June 6 at 5 a.m.

– 2 trains run every 12 minutes on Saturday, June 8 from 5:45 a.m to 8 p.m.

– 3 trains won’t run between Crown Hts-Utica Avenue and New Lots Avenue in Brooklyn on Saturday, June 8 between 6 a.m. and midnight and on Sunday, June 9 between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.

– 5 trains run every 20 minutes on Saturday, June 8 all day

Commuter rail

– Some Long Island Rail Road trains will make added stops at Forest Hills for concert attendees (Irish singer-songwriter Hozier is playing) on Tuesday, June 4, Wednesday, June 5 and Friday June 7 between 4:15 p.m. and midnight. Riders must be in one of the train’s first six cars to exit. You’ll have to show your rail ticket at the station before you can exit.

– The Ronkonkoma Branch will see boosted service this coming week at the Westbury stop for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup (an international cricket tournament). Trains on the branch will make added stops at Westbury on Monday, June 3, Tuesday, June 5 and Friday June 7 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Make sure you can show your rail ticket as you leave the train, it will be checked at the station before you can exit. At Wesbury, riders can transfer to NICE Bus service to reach Eisenhower Park and access the tournament’s stadium.
