General Hospital’s Johnny Wactor Killed in Shooting

Johnny Wactor, who played Brando Corbin on General Hospital for over 160 episodes, was shot and killed in downtown Los Angeles Saturday. According to KTLA, Wactor was shot during an attempted catalytic converter robbery. “Police said the man saw three men stealing the catalytic converter from his vehicle. When he confronted them, they turned around and shot him,” they wrote. TMZ reports that police have not released a description of the suspects.

Wactor started his TV career on Army Wives for Lifetime. Aside from his recurring role on General Hospital, he appeared in such shows as Westworld, The OA, Station 19, and NCIS. He is survived by his mother, Scarlett, and brothers, Lance and Grant. He was 37.
