Watch out! Paramore’s cover of Talking Heads’ “Burning Down the House” appears to have made the Eras Tour opener’s set list, after the band performed it last night in Paris. Hayley Williams looked to have a good time debuting the cover, strutting around and suavely working the crowd. Paramore first recorded the Talking Heads hit for Everybody’s Getting Involved, a Stop Making Sense–inspired tribute album out next week. And remember, it’s got the ultimate stamp of approval — not only did Heads singer David Byrne like it, he covered Paramore’s “Hard Times” in return.

“Hard Times” was also on Paramore’s agenda yesterday, which spanned from classics like “That’s What You Get” to last year’s “This Is Why.” Two songs Paramore didn’t perform: “Castles Crumbling,” Williams’s duet with Taylor Swift from the Speak Now vault, and “Misery Business,” the early hit the band has distanced itself from for some sexist lyrics (which Swift knows a bit about too). Well, they’re not the only ones burning down the set list.
