More than 20 years after The Simple Life first aired, introducing the world to Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie’s antics, the best-friend duo might be coming back to reality TV again. TMZ reports that Hilton and Richie have gotten the green light to create a TV show, though there still aren’t many details.
Per TMZ sources, the show isn’t a reboot of The Simple Life and it hasn’t started filming yet. But a new project could explain the matching posts the women made on their Instagram accounts on Wednesday. Hilton and Richie, who have been friends since they were 2, both shared a collage of photos of themselves over the years with the caption, “From Day 1: Sill and Bill,” the nicknames they have for each other.

In November, a Watch What Happens Live viewer asked Hilton if she and Richie were planning to reunite onscreen to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the show. Hilton said, “We have some surprises in store.” A new show would definitely be a welcome surprise.
