A contingent from Class 4A state runner-up Marist tops list of powerhouse selections.

First Team

Bella Dimitrijevic, Lincoln-Way Central, junior, pitcher: Had 26-3 record and 0.53 ERA with 354 strikeouts in 169 2/3 innings. Batted .412 with 11 doubles, eight home runs and 43 RBIs. Illinois Gatorade Player of the Year. All-state. SouthWest Suburban Red’s player of the year. Committed to Florida State.

Josephine Jager, Lincoln-Way Central, senior, infielder: Batted .545 with 23 doubles and 42 RBIs. All-state, all-conference. Committed to Indianapolis.

Cassidy Jagielski, Lincoln-Way East, sophomore, infielder: Batted .444 with 22 runs, five home runs and 33 RBIs. All-state, all-conference.

MaTaia Lawson, Andrew, junior, infielder: Batted .537 with 60 runs, 22 stolen bases, 15 home runs and 58 RBIs. All-state, all-conference. Committed to Texas.

Ava Lorenzatti, Beecher, sophomore, pitcher/outfielder: Had 19-2 record and 0.92 ERA with 272 strikeouts in 136 innings. Batted .532 with seven home runs and 43 RBIs. All-state. River Valley Conference’s player of the year

Camryn Lyons, Marist, senior, outfielder: Batted .488 with 43 runs, 14 doubles, seven home runs and 44 RBIs. All-state. East Suburban Catholic Conference’s player of the year. Committed to Boston University.

Kelcie McGraw, Lockport, junior, pitcher: Had 16-4 record and 1.76 ERA with 229 strikeouts in 143 innings. All-state, all-conference. Committed to Colgate.

Gabi Novickas, Marist, junior, infielder: Batted .471 with 49 runs, 14 doubles, 19 home runs and 61 RBIs. All-state, all-conference. Committed to Georgia.

Megan Piotrowski, Tinley Park, junior, outfielder: Batted .685 with 43 runs, 22 stolen bases, 13 doubles, 11 home runs and 51 RBIs. All-state. South Suburban Blue’s player of the year. Committed to Loyola.

Reese Rourke, Lincoln-Way West, sophomore, infielder/pitcher: Batted .505 with 47 runs, 17 doubles, 15 home runs and 45 RBIs. Had 14-7 record with 85 strikeouts in 99 innings. All-state, all-conference.

Avaree Taylor, Lemont, senior, infielder: Batted .435 with 24 runs, eight doubles, six home runs and 31 RBIs. All-state, all-conference. Committed to Truman State.

Madison Vrastil, Andrew, senior, catcher: Batted .509, with 59 runs, 39 stolen bases, three home runs and 25 RBIs. All-state, all-conference. Committed to Valparaiso.

Second Team

Melanie Andrysiak, Oak Forest, junior, pitcher/infielder: Had 17-5 record with 220 strikeouts in 131 innings. Batted .392 with eight doubles and 22 RBIs. All-state, all-conference.

Olivia Coglianese, Richards, junior, infielder: Batted .394 with 36 runs, 11 doubles and 26 RBIs. All-state, all-conference.

Raegan Duncan, Lemont, senior, infielder: Batted .407 with  35 runs, 13 doubles, seven home runs and 30 RBIs. All-state, all-conference. Committed to SIU Edwardsville.

Molly Finn, Lincoln-Way West, sophomore, infielder: Batted .490 with 30 runs, nine doubles, three home runs and 34 RBIs. All-state, all-conference.

Bree Hanik, Marist, junior, outfielder: Batted .415 with 56 runs, 17 stolen bases, 19 doubles, 12 home runs and 39 RBIs. All-state, all-conference. Committed to Penn State.

Zoe Jeanes, Sandburg, senior, infielder: Batted .470 with 15 doubles, three home runs and 38 RBIs. All-conference. Committed to Cornell in Iowa.

Caroline O’Brien, Marist, senior, infielder: Batted .406 with 48 runs, 24 stolen bases, 17 doubles, seven home runs and 35 RBIs. All-state, all-conference. Committed to Notre Dame.

Kailee O’Sullivan, Providence, senior, pitcher/infielder: Had 14-5 record with 150 strikeouts in 110 innings. Batted .495 with three triples, six home runs and 43 RBIs. All-state. Was GCAC Red’s player of the year. Committed to Farleigh Dickinson.

Madison Patrick, Joliet Catholic, senior, outfielder: Batted .500 with 36 runs and 28 stolen bases. All-state, all-conference.

Morgan Reczkiewicz, Oak Forest, sophomore, infielder/catcher: Batted .461 with 32 runs, nine doubles, seven home runs and 42 RBIs. All-state, all-conference.

Kailey Selvage, Shepard, junior, pitcher: Had 14-5 record and 1.98 ERA. Pitched 12 shutouts, with 196 strikeouts in 123 1/3 innings. Batted .438. South Suburban Red’s player of the year.

Morgan Spodarek, Lockport, senior, infielder: Batted .333 with 30 runs, seven doubles, eight home runs and 24 RBIs. All-state, all conference. Committed to McKendree.
