SCHOOL HEALTH: The city Health Department awarded a $188,000 contract to Midtown-based nonprofit organization Community Healthcare Network to start a reproductive health care clinic in school-based health centers. The Community Healthcare Network offers primary care and behavioral health services at more than a dozen locations citywide.

ADDICTION SERVICES: First Deputy Mayor Sheena Wright and City Councilmember Crystal Hudson, who represents Brooklyn neighborhoods including Fort Greene and Clinton Hill, joined addiction services provider START Treatment and Recovery Centers to rename a street after one of the first Black founders of START’s methadone clinics on Tuesday. The corner of Waverly Avenue and Fulton Street was named Dr. Beny Primm Way to commemorate the founder, who was renowned for his work in substance use disorder treatment and during the AIDS epidemic.
