Suspects in custody for Elgin shooting Sunday that left man hospitalized

Elgin police say they have subjects in custody in connection with a Sunday shooting that left a man injured.

Officer were call to the 500 block of North McLean Boulevard about 6:45 p.m., where they found a victim with non-life-threatening injuries who was transported to an area hospital.

Police provided no additional information and provided no details as to what led to the shooting, how old the victim was or what town he comes from, if the injured man knew his assailants, if he lived in the area he was shot, how many gunshot wounds he sustained or if/when charges would be filed against those they’ve taken into custody.
