Studio5 presents Sons of the Never Wrong at 8 p.m. May 17 at 1934 Dempster St.,  Evanston. Tickets: $35-$45. 847-328-6683; studio5.dance.

The Chicago-based alt-folk trio — Bruce Roper, Sue Demel, and Deborah Lader — has been delivering witty, whimsical songs since 1992, combining influences of folk, jazz, pop, and rock.

Historic Downtown Long Grove presents Chocolate Fest at noon-11 p.m. May 17, 10 a.m.-11 p.m. May 18 and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. May 19 at 145 Old McHenry Road, Long Grove. Tickets: $5; $10 for a 3-day pass. 847-634-0888; longgrove.org/festival/chocolatefest.

Everything from chocolate eclairs to chocolate cotton candy and hot chocolate will be available for purchase. There will also be loads of live music and a classic carnival with games and rides.

Celestial Sounds
