Female passenger drives off with ride-share vehicle on Near North Side

A female ride share passenger drove off with the car when the driver stopped at a gas station overnight on the Near North Side, Chicago police said.

Shortly after 11:30 p.m., a male victim working for a ride share company was in a gas station in the 100 block of West North Avenue when a female passenger drove away with the vehicle, police said.

No one was injured during the theft, or in custody, and detectives were investigating.
