An Idaho inmate who escaped custody this week is suspected, along with his accomplice, in the murders of two men while they were on the run. Investigators say the inmate deliberately injured himself in prison to get taken to a hospital Wednesday, and when he was about to be transported back, his accomplice opened fire on corrections officers.
