The weather is warmer and we’re just days away from the Academy Awards, so it’s only right that people are out and about, especially in Los Angeles. From a night celebrating young Hollywood, to a night all about being gay and doing crime (theoretically, okay?), to a Parisian dinner hosted by Gigi Hadid, here are all the bestest party pics this week.
Best Classic Look: Lana Del Rey
It’s a good week for sad girlies everywhere when Lana is spotted, and this time around, it’s not at Waffle House. She looks perfectly old Hollywood at Louis Vuitton and W Magazine’s dinner to celebrate the 96th Academy Awards.
Best Layering: Gigi Hadid
Hosting alongside Miu Miu is no joke, but if anyone is up for it, it’s Gigi Hadid. To celebrate the fall/winter 2024 fashion show, she pulled out all the Miu Miu pieces in her closet for the dinner. Just kidding; this is definitely not everything she owns from the brand.
Best Suit: Jeremy Pope
Jeremy Pope has made a name for himself alongside his acting chops as one of the best-dressed men in Hollywood, which he proves at the ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Awards with this fringed suit.
Best Barely-There: Kristen Stewart
I want to trust something as much as Stewart trusts this bodysuit to stay in place during the Los Angeles Love Lies Bleeding premiere.
Best Duo: Barry Keoghan and Charles Melton
The darling boys of this awards season look awfully cute together during the Vanity Fair and Instagram “Night for Young Hollywood” celebration.
Best Minidress: Hunter Schafer
When does Schafer go somewhere and not look amazing? She’s also a Prada girl through and through, having worked on its campaigns and now attending its runway shows and events, like the third edition of “The Double Club,” a project by the brand in collaboration with Luna Luna.
Best Day-to-Night: Tracee Ellis Ross
At the What Goes Around Comes Around celebration for the upcoming awards season, Ellis Ross looked chic as hell in a quiet luxury moment that said, “I could wear this anywhere, but you’re lucky I wore it here.”
Best Sheer: Priyanka Chopra Jonas
Wearing a single-shoulder sheer dress from Sabyasachi (who also designed Chopra Jonas’s red lehenga for her wedding), the star celebrated the brand’s exclusive pop-up at Saks Beverly Hills.
Best Tie: Denny Balmaceda
I love a good tie, and this matching polka-dot moment from influencer Denny Balmaceda has left me online shopping to find something (anything!) similar to add to my own wardrobe. He wore this during the night of menswear fashion this week at a fireside chat with Sir Paul Smith to celebrate the launch of the Paul Smith Clubhouse at the Nordstrom NYC Men’s Store.
Best All-Black: Lila Moss
Taking an all-black outfit and making it interesting is easier said than done, but the mesh top that Moss wore during Frame’s Paris Fashion Week dinner really made this outfit stand out. Another piece I want to immediately add to my cart.
