Bombardier R62A 2311 brings up the rear markers of a Van Cortlandt Park/242 St bound 1 train as it departs the Cortlandt Street/World Trade Center station late on a Friday evening.
The original station was destroyed during the 9/11 attacks. Service on the Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line through the area was restored in September 2002, and the renovated Cortlandt Street/WTC station reopened on September 2018.
