Are 'accessory dwellings' an answer to NJ's housing crisis? Lawmakers hope so.

Brian Staub bought this home from his mother in 1998. Now she lives in the garage apartment — and some lawmakers are hoping to create more "accessory dwelling units" like that throughout New Jersey.

Legislation would require towns to accept the apartments, which share lots with main houses. [ more › ]
