NYC quietly shuttered enrollment centers for residential ID cards, a lifeline for some



Former Mayor Bill de Blasio holding an IDNYC card as others also display theirs.

At the height of the program, more than two dozen enrollments centers were scattered around the city.

The number of centers where New Yorkers can sign up to obtain the popular IDNYC dropped to 10, down from 15 last year. [ more › ]
