Quick, someone tell Peyton Manning: Emily in Paris is returning with a two-part season. In the upcoming fourth season, Em-e-lee is still in Par-ee … but Netflix is sending her on a little holiday, too. “From the French Alps to the piazzas of Rome, viewers will vicariously experience amazing new locations through Emily’s eyes,” show creator Darren Star told Tudum. “Expect new characters, a lot more drama, romance, and a whole new language to try and master.” (Key word: try.)
Last season left us with plenty of questions. Namely, are Gabriel and Emily gonna get together or what? Will Mindy and the band make it to Eurovision? In a May 3 announcement video, the cast — which includes Emily Cooper, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Lucas Bravo, Camille Razat, Ashley Park, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, and Lucien Laviscount — played coy, only vaguely teasing that we will see chaos, heartbreak, adventure, and revenge. It also seems likely that there’ll be a big cliffhanger, since this season will be split in half. The first five episodes are due to arrive on August 15, while the next five will follow on September 12.
