That Button Again

Designed by James Biber, "Big Button" first made its appearance in 1996. Previously a black button, it has been redesigned in taxi-cab yellow, complete with stainless steel thread. (The button itself is made of aluminum.) It can be seen on 39th Street and Fashion Avenue (Seventh Avenue) in the Garment District, in Midtown Manhattan.
