It’s not every day that a producer assistant gets to attend the Tonys, let alone see her show win Best Musical. But that’s the night Vivienne Jolie-Pitt had. Angelina Jolie took daughter Vivienne to the 2024 Tony Awards — during which the show she helped produce, The Outsiders, won Best Musical. Vivienne got to take the stage when The Outsiders won, as well as posing for pics with Outsiders score and co-book writer Justin Levine and Idina Menzel. The Jolies showed up on the red carpet in coordinating sea foam green fits: a gown for Angelina and a vest-bowtie combo for Vivienne.
Angelina has spoken before about how Vivienne got her involved in Broadway. “She saw an early workshop a few times and then invited me to it,” she told People. “She has been there to assist in any way she can and has learned so much from Justin Levine and the whole creative team.”
