National Weather Service officials are expecting showers and scattered thunderstorms to hit portions of north central, northeast Illinois, and northwest Indiana Saturday afternoon.
Current conditions at O’Hare International Airport is overcast at overcast at 75 degrees, and farther south at Midway Airport is mostly cloudy at 76 degrees.
Officials said scattered showers are expected Saturday with the potential for isolated thunderstorms, but severe weather was not expected.
