Weekly commuter roundup: June 10-14

Here are the subway disruptions, road closures and other commuting changes you should be aware of in New York City this week.

Subway

– No 1 trains between Chambers Street and South Ferry beginning Monday, June 10 at 11:45 p.m. through Friday, June 14 at 5 a.m.

– C train service ends early Monday, June 10 through Thursday, June 13 beginning at 9:30 p.m. Take the A train instead.

– In Brooklyn, no F trains between Jay Street-MetroTech and Church Avenue from Monday, June 10 beginning at 9:30 p.m. through Friday, June 14 at 5 a.m.

– No G trains between Bedford-Nostrand Avenues and Church Avenue in Brooklyn between Monday, June 10 beginning at 9:30 p.m. through Friday, June 14 at 5 a.m.

– In Manhattan, no L trains between 14th Street-Union Square and 8th Avenue as of Monday, June 10 at 11:45 p.m. through Wednesday, June, 12 at 5 a.m.

– 2 trains operate every 16 minutes between East 180th Street and Wakefield-241 Street in the Bronx between Tuesday, June 11 from 10:30 a.m. to Friday, June 14 at 2:30 p.m.

– Brooklyn L trains will not stop between Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues and Atlantic Avenue on Thursday, June 12 between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Commuter rail

– The Ronkonkoma Branch will see boosted service this week at the Westbury stop for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup (an international cricket tournament). Trains on the branch will make added stops at Westbury on Monday, June 10, Tuesday, June 11 and Wednesday, June 12 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Make sure you can show your rail ticket as you leave the train, it will be checked at the station before you can exit. At Wesbury, riders can transfer to NICE Bus service to reach Eisenhower Park and access the tournament’s stadium.

Roads and bridges

The following streets will be closed in Manhattan for the Bloomberg Square Mile Relay on Thursday, June 13:

-Fulton Street between Water Street and Front Street

-Front Street between Fulton Street and Old Slip

-Wall Street between Water Street and South Street

-Water Street between Fulton Street and Beekman Street

-John Street between Water Street and Front Street

-Maiden Lane between Water Street and South Street

-Water Street between John Street and Fulton Street

-Fulton Street between Water Street and Front Street

Several streets will be closed for the 2024 Flag Day Parade in Manhattan on Friday, June 14:

-Broadway between Park Place and Barclay Street

-Broadway between Barclay Street and Stone Street

-Whitehall Street between Stone Street and Water Street

-Water Street between Whitehall Street and Broad Street

-Broad Street between Water Street and Pearl Street

-Broad Street between Pearl Street and South William Street

-Pearl Street between Broad Street and Coenties Slip
