It’s been nearly a week since Representative Jasmine Crockett, a Democrat from Texas, uttered the words “bleach blonde bad built butch body” on the House floor, spawning think pieces, remixes, dances, and, now, merch. USA Today reports that Crockett has filed a trademark application for the phrase.

The filing — which is apparently for products including, hats, hoodies, socks, and T-shirts — was submitted days after a chaotic House debate on Thursday. During the meeting, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia said she thought Crockett’s “fake eyelashes are messing up what you’re reading.” After Greene refused to apologize and House Oversight Committee chair James Comer ruled that the comment didn’t break any rules, Crockett asked for clarification about what would be considered a violation of the rules. “I’m just curious, just to better understand your ruling. If someone on this committee then starts talking about somebody’s bleach blonde bad built butch body, that would not be engaging in personalities, correct?”

It’s no surprise that Crockett is trying to trademark the phrase: It’s become a hit. While some said the incident was evidence of the end of decorum and civility in the House, others have set the catchy phrase to various beats, making it a hip-hop, a gospel, an Afrobeat, and a country track. Others have created dances to it and taken it upon themselves to use it as a chance to provide a lesson on alliteration. On Friday, Crockett wrote on X she would be dropping “A Crockett Clapback Collection” that “will feature various swag that includes random things I’ve said.” Meanwhile, Greene seemed to respond on Monday, sharing a video of herself vigorously lifting weights as Sia’s “Unstoppable” plays, and writing: “Yes my body is built and strong NOT with nips, tucks, plastic, or silicone, but through a healthy lifestyle.”

Crockett said money raised from the clapback merch will go to supporting House Democrats. Asked by Jake Tapper on Sunday if she regrets saying the phrase, Crockett replied without hesitation: “No, I don’t.”
