As is often the case when a ton of celebrities convene at one long party, the Met Gala is a great place for exes to run into each other. Last night, though many actual boyfriends seemed to have passed up their plus-one invites, a handful of former couples managed to cross paths. The forever on-again, off-again Cardi B and Offset were seen holding hands less than five months after announcing they’d broken up. And then there were Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny, who were seen canoodling at an after-party hosted by Emily Ratajkowski.
In a photo from the night, the former couple, who reportedly broke up in December after nearly a year of basketball games and romantic horseback rides, are sitting mighty close on a bench, smiling and laughing. One source told “Page Six” they were “flirting,” adding that Jenner was “rubbing his head” (?).
Perhaps they were feeling nostalgic for last year’s Met Gala after-party at the Ritz-Carlton, where they arrived together in one of their first major public outings as a couple? Did the “Garden of Time” theme inspire these two to rewind the clock? Perhaps Jenner was just feeling horny for Bad Bunny’s matador-meets-Renaissance hat. I can’t say I disagree.
