Child hunger is rising in NYC. Mayor Adams wants to cut emergency food funds in half.

The City Harvest warehouse in Sunset Park on Thursday, where cans of drinks and food are wrapped on palates.

The food rescue group provides food to 400 partner agencies and says visits to those sites by families which children are up by one million a month.

Adams' budget proposal would reduce city spending on food insecurity to pre-pandemic levels. [ more › ]
